Sometimes unethical attorneys try to cover up their mistakes by not telling their clients the truth.

There are statutes of limitation and other strict deadlines that an attorney must adhere to or a case will be lost.  If your attorney told you at first that you have a great case and then all of the sudden tries to convince you that your case really is not worth much now, it is possible that your attorney may have missed an important deadline.
